Mortgage Rate Forecast for 2011 – Still a Good Time for Hawaii Homebuyers?

Lani Kai property (MLS# 1004623)

According to an article in Bankrate.com, today’s mortgage rates are still the lowest we’ve seen since the 1950’s. In addition, economists and analysts are predicting that 30 year fixed rates are only expected to rise to about 5.25% or 5.5% in 2011.

If you combine this information with my blog, Economic Forecast for Oahu Real Estate is Looking Good, that expects home sales and prices to edge up in 2011, this indicates that now is still a great time to purchase real estate on Oahu.

So, if you are contemplating buying a home on Oahu, now is the time because these historic conditions will not last long. Please contact me if you are interested in Oahu Real Estate.
