Deal – Mauna Lani Resort Condo Under $300K

There is something to be said for owning the lowest priced property in a quality neighborhood. When the neighborhood prices go up, those lower priced properties tend to appreciate faster.

Unit H-2 is in the Golf Villas in the Mauna Lani Resort, very close to the beautiful Mauna Lani private beach club (see below).

This 2 bedroom/2 bathroom condo is on the ground floor with a “summer kitchen” BBQ area on the lanai. It is a bank owned property. At $294,000, it is the lowest priced condo in the Mauna Lani Resort in the past two years. The unit next to it, H-3, sold for $329,000 in October of 2010.

For more info on this unit, or other resort condos on the Kohala Coast, contact us.

Dan and Marion – I can’t believe how low the prices are now for the Golf Villas – this may well be the most under-appreciated project at the Mauna Lani resort!

Merry Christmas you two! It is cold, windy and raining here, wish I was in the islands with you, playing golf. We did find 12 golfballs this morning on our walk though.
Wow the prices are really dropping, even more now! I sent this page on to our son, still very interested in property there. Bottle me some sunshine and send it to me for Christmas!
Aloha

Aloha Paul,
H-2 at Mauna Lani got an offer shortly after our blog was posted. It closed on March 23 for $282K, two thousand dollars under asking price.
There are currently four other condos available in the same complex priced under 400K. I will email them to you.
When a well priced foreclosure comes on the market in a desirable area it usually gets one or more offers quickly.

@Dan – you really bring up a good point here, when a well-priced anything – REO, short sale or “regular sale” comes on the market in a desireable area, we’re seeing multiple offers. Who would’ve thunk?
