Maui Weekend Events – April 26

Aloha friends! The feature this weekend on Maui is Color Festival Hawaii taking place this Sunday. Also in the lineup is Henry Kapono’s Artist 2 Artist series. ProArts delivers a whole weekend of comedy with performances each night. And lastly, Kihei 4th Friday Town Party kicks off the weekend this Friday night.

Color Festival Hawaii 2024

Discover Imua presents Color Festival Hawaii 2024. Event takes place this Sunday at the MACC. Doors open at 11:30 am, music starts at noon and group color throw at 5:30 pm. Several food trucks on site offering food and beverage starting at 11:30 am. This is a take on the celebration Holi in India. The colors are meant to carry love and happiness to people.

Henry Kapono’s Artist 2 Artist

The Artist 2 Artist series continues at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center. Playing at the McCoy Studio Theater this Friday at 7:30 pm. This edition, Henry hosts Kala’e and Kalena. Show also features special guest Pat Simmons Jr. Arlie Asiu will perform preshow in the McCoy Courtyard. Doors open and food and beverage service begins at 5:30 pm.

ProArts Maui

i heart comedy

ProArts Maui delivers a whole weekend of comedy. Josh Kamolo presents 4th Friday Comedy on Friday night. Show starts at 8:00 pm. Headliner Chino LaForge. Saturday night features Free Range Comedy. This is an improv troupe specializing in short-form improv a la “Who’s Line is it Anyway?” Show starts at 7:30 and seating at 7:00 pm.  Sunday night you can catch the Maui Improv Monthly Showcase. Maui Improv is nominated Maui’s best theater company. They present at ProArts Maui the last Sunday of every month. Show starts 7:00 pm. Doors open at 6:30 pm.

Kihei 4th Friday Town Party

Kihei 4th Friday town party takes place on the fourth Friday of every month. This is such a fun event for the family with over 20 food truck vendors and plenty Local Retail Vendors. There is also a keiki zone with face painting, balloon twisting, hula hoops, bubbles and quick science. Fun event to gather with community.
