Maui Weekend Events – April 19

Aloha friends! This weekend on Maui has some great Earth Day celebrations as well as live music and 420 celebrations. This Saturday, South Maui Gardens hosts 420 In the Gardens with a fun line up of yoga, live music and more throughout the day. Saturday night, Dead cover band Maui Pranksters put on a 420 Concert at Mulligans on the Blue. The 28th Annual East Maui Taro Festival returns for the first time since 2019! Also Saturday night, is Earth Night by the Maui Ocean Center. And finally on Sunday, Ahimsa Sanctuary Farm hosts the 2nd Annual Earth Day Celebration.

420 In the Gardens

South Maui Gardens – Hidden Oasis of Kihei presents 420 In the Garden. This is an all-day event. Doors open at noon. A full itinerary including live music, yoga, guest speakers and more starts at 1:00 pm and runs until 8:00 pm. Tickets from $25 general advance- $75 VIP. Several local favorite food trucks on site. Featured musicians include Lambsbread, Messenjah Selah, Sunny Kalama and more.

Maui Pranksters 420 Concert

Another live music option this weekend is the Maui Pranksters at Mulligans on the Blue this Saturday night. The Maui Pranksters are known for their great Dead covers. Show starts at 7 pm. Tickets $20 advance on-line.

28th Annual East Maui Taro Festival

The 28th Annual East Maui Taro Festival takes place this weekend. This will be the first time since 2019 the festival is being held. Head to Hana Park this Saturday morning between 9 am and 5 pm. There will be a farmer market on site. Additionally, food booths, arts and crafts, poi pounding, music and hula.

Earth Night 2024 at the Ocean Center

The Maui Ocean Center is hosting an Earth Night to celebrate Earth Day. Head down this Saturday evening from 6 – 9 pm. Festivities include face painting, diver presentations, activities, live music and local vendors. Gourmet food and beverage also available for purchase. Tickets $25 for adults and $10 for keiki. Free for members.

Ahimsa Sanctuary Farm 2nd Annual Earth Day Celebration

The Ahimsa Sanctuary Farm is hosting the 2nd Annual Earth Day Plant Spirit Feast. This is an all-day event on Sunday beginning at 11 am and running until sunset. Festivities include farm to table food and tea and live local talent. There will also be ag seminars and workshops, herbal and wellness services and a barter circle.
