Luxury Portfolio Summit | I’m Local, I’m Global

I recently returned from Las Vegas, where my Hawaii Life team attended the Luxury Portfolio International (LPI) Summit. The summit brought together like-minded individuals who seek the greatest exposure for their listings and personal branding. The invitation-only network of brokerages, is the largest global real estate network with 1.1 global transactions, equaling $254 billion in sales. Held at the beautiful Wynn, Las Vegas, the LPI summit was an opportunity to learn the latest trends in luxury real estate, as well as to find out the latest tools available to us to bring global exposure for properties, and in my case, Oahu. It was also an amazing opportunity to connect with other Realtors within the LPI network. Relationships matter in our business.

A few of us from Hawaii Life took the opportunity to travel to Las Vegas for this event. Unfortunately, a few international and national Realtors were not able to join us due to the Coronavirus travel restrictions that were placed upon them. The rest of us were practically smothered in hand sanitizer, readily available throughout the conference areas and the hotel.

It’s easy to get caught up in our little bubbles that we create around us in our own individual markets. We are especially susceptible to this in Hawaii, being so far away from the mainland. It is vital for us to break away and to meet other successful individuals to compare notes and to share ideas. Attending conferences is a way for us to sharpen our skills and to form new relationships. Real estate is a people’s business, and that includes clients as well as colleagues.

A few of the countries that the LPI network operates within. Global exposure for local properties.

Affluent real estate consumers who are accustomed to making real estate investments are found throughout the world. These purchases are made for personals and business reasons, and they are often not 1st home buys. These are 2nd, 3rd, or 7th properties. It is very important for us as Realtors to be able to market our listings and our personal brands, to consumers outside of our immediate market. The LPI marketing and network allows us to do just that…bring exposure to us and our homes that otherwise would be impossible to achieve on a small scale.

LPI Digital, print, and social media exposure.

We also made sure to take the time to enjoy Las Vegas while there. Our first stop was Red Rock Canyon just outside of Las Vegas. LINK to VIDEO. Oh and the fun we had, and the sleep we lost. It was nice to spend a few days strengthening our professional bonds, and it was nice to just be us to connect as friends. With abundant laughter, we conquered Vegas.

The Luxury Portfolio International network is a huge benefit to sellers looking to bring added exposure to their homes. The fact that it is a strictly an invitation-only network, with heavy vetting, is a testament to the success and professionalism of Hawaii Life. Sellers can expect their properties to be marketed outside of Hawaii.
