Cost of Living the Kohala Coast Resort Lifestyle – Part 3

Any seasoned real estate agent understands buyers in these exquisite resorts, such as Mauna Kea or Mauna Lani Resort, are ultimately purchasing a lifestyle and not just a house or a condo.

Waikoloa Beach Resort

Those who thrive on activity, events, and shopping may find Waikoloa Beach Resort to be their favorite.

This fun family lifestyle resort destination includes two luxury hotels, a classic Hawaiian hotel on 15-acre beachfront known as the Waikoloa Beach Marriott and the gargantuesque Hilton Waikoloa Village. The Hilton encompasses 62 oceanfront acres, 1,240 rooms & suites, and features cascading waterfalls, dolphin lagoon, tropical gardens, and a tram or shuttle boats.

Anaeho’omalu is the Hawaiian name of the bay and beach neighboring the resort. Its 900′-long granular salt & pepper is a popular, picturesque place to watch the sunset, or to relax along the shore. Historical features such as a series of anchialine ponds, or the best example of the petroglyphs in the state are also part of the experience of the Waikoloa Beach resort.

Aloha Catherine, thanks for mentioning Halii Kai. Our listing 5B now has an accepted offer..in fact Pam and I currently have 7 pending deals there, either our listings or our buyer clients! I do like the developer model homes as a best buy today. And of course you are the expert when it comes to Colony Villas…

Great job Catherine of describing how the Waikoloa Beach resort compares to the Manua Lani and Mauna Kea resorts. They are all beautiful and tropical but offer different atmosphere and price ranges. Thanks for the series.

Catherine; Nice article and update. I have been showing property through out the Waikoloa Beach Resort all week and am feeling the price range adjustment! Each time my clients put in a cash offer within 5% they got a counter offer!! Sheesh.. supply & demand! Success finally prevailed and they will soon close on a nice three bedroom Colony Villas.
