TripAdvisor recently came out with a list of the best beaches in the United States. 7 out of the top 10 spots were in Hawaii. Oahu claimed two of those spots with Lanikai coming in first and Hanauma Bay in Hawaii Kai taking the tenth spot.

Is this Good News for Oahu?
I can’t say I’m surprised, as homes in Lanikai and neighboring Beachside in Kailua fetched 4 of the top 10 highest home sale prices on Oahu last year. It’s great news for Oahu and also great news for Lanikai residents (that are looking to sell).
Now that the news is out, not all locals are doing backflips. With the “cat out of the bag,” more and more people most likely will be visiting the beach to see what all the buzz is about. Don’t worry, TripAdvisor will have a new list out next year with different beaches that everyone will flock to.
