Kula Homes For Sale in Upcountry Maui

Kula offers a stunning array of colors. I love when the Jacaranda flower in Kula. Kula is also known for its fertile soil and perfect elevation for farming, or just growing some of the sweetest strawberries, and other veggies for the backyard gardener.

Maui sunflowers and flowering trees

Flowers grow really well in Kula—a large variety of roses, proteas, and other exotic flowers. Kula has volcanic soil, which is the perfect mixture for growing just about anything. View Kula homes for sale.

Kula 200 home I sold this year for $1,250,000

The above two photos are from a lovely home that I sold in Kula 200. Tucked away at the end of the road was this remodeled home that I found for my clients, which was not on the market.

If you are looking for a home to buy, local knowledge really makes a difference. I have lived Upcountry and on Maui’s north shore for over 36 years, prior to that in Lahaina. Sometimes it’s a challenge to find that right property. That’s where years of experience comes in for buyers and sellers. Ask about how your home can also be marketed on Hawaii Life’s top search engines in Hawaii.

Kula horses

For many, Upcountry Maui is horse country. This is Tiny (pictured above), who came from the Alexander Ranch in Kula. You will still find cowboys, or paniolos, herding cattle in the hills on the different ranches, or practicing for the different rodeos Upcountry.

The video below is of some Kula vacant land for sale. I love this property located in Lower Kula, Maui, which offers fabulous views of the ocean and crater. This would be a perfect place to build your dream home in a gated community.

Kula, Maui sunset—I think this photo speaks for itself!

Kula still has that rural feeling that I treasure here in North Kohala on the Big Island. And in both cases, you have beaches just a short drive away…the best of both worlds!
