In April, there were 35 condos sold in Kona at an average price of $427,031. This compares to March sales of 22 condos at an average price of $518,141.

Average sales prices for Kona can be a bit deceptive due to the inclusion of the Hualalai Resort sales into the overall average. Just look at the range in sales prices for Kona – from a high of a sale over $3 million to a starting price of just over $63,000. Talk about variety of properties! If you look at the average sales price in Kona minus Hualalai, the sales price drops in half to just $243,628.
