The first lottery in Kohina sold out in minutes. Kohina’s second lottery release is happening NOW! A total of 10 new 2-3 bedroom townhomes from $464,00 (fs) to $569,000 (fs) will be released in the lottery. Homes are projected to be completed Fall 2019.

Lottery Instructions:

Interested in participating in the lottery? Below are the items that are needed.

  1.  Lottery application completed.
  2. Owner-occupant affidavit notarized.
  3. A pre-approval letter by a lender of your choice.

All forms must be submitted to Kohina at Ho’opili by 5:00 pm on Friday, March 22, 2019. If you decide to use DR Horton’s in house lender, they offer $5k-$6k towards closing cost incentives. If you cannot turn in your application in time, I can do it for you.

The lottery will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 10 am. Immediately after the lottery, the selected prospective owner-occupants shall be given the opportunity, in the order in which they were selected, to select one of the designated homes. An earnest money deposit of $1,000 will be collected to hold the home. Prospective buyers will have 24 hours from notification to communicate with the Kohina’s sales staff their preferred choice(s) of lot(s). Applicants who did not have the opportunity to select one of the designated units shall be placed on a backup reservation list in the order in which they were selected in the public lottery.
