Keiki Fun in Kapolei

Fun Things To Do with Kids in Kapolei this Summer!

School is out for the summer in Hawaii and what do you do to occupy your keiki?  Located 25 miles west of Honolulu, Kapolei is a vibrant, rapidly growing community on the island of Oahu.  It is also known as Oahu’s “second city”.  Kapolei has many places to keep your keiki happy and busy this summer. Here are some fun places to visit this summer.

Wet n’ Wild Hawaii

Wet ‘n Wild Hawaii is the only water park in Hawaii and has 25 rides and attractions situated on 25 acres of land. It’s open year round and offers fun for toddlers, school aged children and adults. Join them on Wednesdays this summer for half price off the admission price for Kamaiana (resident) and Military. It’s a great way to keep cool this summer!

I Trampoline

Keep your kids active and fit this summer by visiting Hawaii’s first and only trampoline center. It has more than 14,000 square feet of Trampoline for your children to jump on and release all of that excess energy! They can play games like dodgeball and basketball and when they tire of jumping there is an arcade they can visit to play video games.

K1 Speed Kart Raceway

Take your child to the indoor K1 Speed Kart Raceway and let them feel like they’re race car drivers! They will love the excitement of driving the electric karts and adults will enjoy racing too!

Coral Crater Adventure Park

The Coral Crater Adventure Park offers challenges and fun for you and your children. Ride the zip lines or try the obstacle course in the Adventure Tower. Great fun for families but children must be 6 years old and a minimum of 60 lbs.

Beach

Visit one of the many beautiful sandy beaches in Kapolei. Two of my favorites are Ko Olina and White Plains beach. Ko Olina resort has four beautiful lagoons that are great for younger children. The water is calm and perfect for the little ones! Great for swimming and building sand castles. Spend the day at White Plains Beach where you will find some easy waves to surf.

Hawaiian Railway

Take your keiki on train ride at the Hawaiian Railway which begins in Ewa Beach and takes you through Kapolei and along the coast of the beautiful Leeward side. The Historic Railroad is the only historic railroad in Hawaii.

Kapolei public Library

Keep your keiki reading this summer by bringing them for a visit to the library. Here you will find a children’s section of books. They also offer great programs during the year for children of all ages.

Kroc Center

The Kroc center is a beautiful community center run by the Salvation Army. Here you will find a lap pool and an Adventure Cove area with a lazy river. They have diving boards, rock climbing walls and water slides. Something for everyone can be found here. Become a member and get discounts on classes such as music, art, swim and karate. Take a tour of the facility to see all the other great programs they offer.
