The other day I had a lunch meeting at Oasis at Waipouli Beach Resort. It’s kind of hard to call it “business” when you are sitting in such a beautiful, relaxed, resort environment – but then again, I guess that’s why we live here.

Pictured below is one of the few restaurants on Kauai where you can dine oceanfront – the restaurant is open air and right by the beach. (I had the “local catch tacos” and they were fabulous.)

Waipouli Beach Resort: A Beachfront Luxury Resort in Kapaa

Waipouli Beach Resort is located oceanfront on the east side of Kauai. It is super beautiful, with luxury suites and one of the most fun pools on the island of Kauai. The pool covers about two acres, with waterfalls, slides for the kids (or the kid in all of us), spas, and wandering garden paths. And a koi pond, of course.

If you are visiting the island of Kauai, I would definitely recommend you stop by this resort and take a look around, and maybe grab lunch or a snack at Oasis and take in the view. You can also hang out and watch the koi for a few minutes, and enjoy the peace and tranquility.
