Kailua Kona Real Estate Statistics Help Determine “Location, Location, Location”

The sales just keep climbing in Kailua-Kona.

I like to focus on North Kona because this is where I live and sell real estate. I am familiar with the ups and downs we’ve gone through over the past 6 or 7 years. Looking at statistics, it’s a very important tool in a Realtors success. When a customer calls and is unsure where to buy, statistics can help.

Buyers like to know where to buy property not only for its aesthetics or maybe because it’s the “perfect house”, but also because of the age old saying, “location, location, location.” We all know location is important, but how do sales statistics help to determine a good location to buy a home?

In today’s market, statistics will help a buyer determine which areas have seen the most declines in both sales and prices along with their best recovery efforts. A buyer might be thinking in the present when purchasing, but it is always important to look at the future and ask what this property could be worth, will it appreciate, will I be able to sell and is this a desirable area?
