Island Colony Condos Offer Affordable Waikiki Living with Style

Aqua Hotels and Resorts are the managers of Waikiki’s tallest hotel, the Island Colony.

Island Colony Amenities

As an owner of a condo in this pool, your vacation rental guests have many amenities at their fingertips, including:

  • Large Outdoor Swimming Pool, Hot Tub and Sun Deck
  • 24 Hour Guest Services Agents
  • Activities & Car Rental Desks
  • Mobile Wireless Broadband Internet Access (daily fee)
  • Laundry & Dry Cleaning
  • Luggage Storage

The Island Colony is a great way to either begin an income property portfolio, or simply have an affordable Hawaiian getaway place that is managed professionally.

Active Island Colony Condos

Currently offered for sale are 14 active units: 9 studios and 5 one bedrooms. The studios range in square footage from 302-315 square feet (not including lanais), and the one bedrooms range from 563-570 square feet (again, not including the lanai, which run an average of 108 sq.ft. overall).

Island Colony Best Buy

My pick? A one bedroom unit, #820, (MLS# 1207895) is not only the cheapest per square foot ($400) of any unit being offered as of this writing including the studios, it is also arguably the nicest remodel, and probably the most turnkey.

Listed at $228,000, the kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, beautiful tiled floors, and a sandy beach hue palette throughout. Step out onto your Lanai to get a gorgeous view of the Ala Wai Canal and the Ko’olau Mountain Range.

If all that isn’t enough, then consider this program available to you as an Island Colony condo owner in the Aqua Resorts rental pool: Island Grocery Service, an online grocery service that allows you to shop for groceries online and have them placed in your guest room prior to your arrival. If that isn’t living in style, I don’t know what is.

Shaylyn you are right. It couldn’t be in a better location to enjoy all the sights and fun of Waikiki Beach.
