North Hawaii Hospice Floating Lantern Ceremony at the Fairmont Orchid Resort

North Hawaii Hospice is having a Floating Lantern Ceremony coming up this weekend at the Fairmont Orchid on the Kohala Coast of the Big Island. I have been to one in the past and it’s truly a moving experience.

This meaningful ceremony will honor and remember loved ones that have passed. There will be a sharing of music, hula, Taiko drummers, chanting, and prayers followed by a lantern release into Pauoa Bay at sunset. Everyone is welcome!

How touching and somber and meanigful. One gentleman who was a WW 2 vet simply wrote on his lantern. Miss you guys.
