We’re Hiring – Entry Level Computer Researcher / Marketer

HawaiiLife.com is seeking an organized and motivated person for full-time employment in an entry level position at our headquarters in Hanalei, Kauai. Pay at this position will be commensurate with experience. Health insurance offered after probationary period.

Required Knowledge/Skills

  • Computer: knowledge of Windows operating systems. Demonstrates ability to keep workstation running smoothly and to perform basic troubleshooting for Realtors (e.g. email setup). Minimum 45 wpm typing,
  • Applications: word processor, spreadsheet, email, Internet browsers.
  • Organization: mail, filing systems, office cleanup, misc. tasks to optimize office efficiency.
  • Copywriting: demonstrates ability to write concise copy and to proofread HawaiiLife.com documents and blog posts.
  • Problem Solving, Learning: ability to research on the computer and provide concise organized content (sees new tasks as exciting challenges rather than intimidating).

Bonus Skills

  • Knowledge of Mac OS X operating system, WordPress, or any Hawaii MLS system.
  • Prior experience with the escrow process.
  • Real estate license.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Reporting: Provide reports of collected data from MLS systems.
  • Delivery:  Organize and complete mass e-mails; coordinate the delivery of marketing material.
  • Communication:  Coordinate activities with Hawaii Life agents and clients to ensure all parties are meeting their obligations.

Compensation

  • Starting Pay: $12-$15 per hour with insurance ($17-$20 per hour for independent contractors) for a 2-month evaluation period.
  • 30-40 hours per week.
