Hawaii Life Casting Call

Are you ready to possibly be on TV?  As agent’s with Hawaii Life we are fortunate to have the relationship with HGTV and the syndicated show Hawaii Life, of the same channel.  If you have not seen the show it is really something you should put on your to do list.  The show features a Hawaii Life agent taking one of their real life clients to view properties in the clients desired  price range and preferred area of the island.  So far I  have personally been on the show twice now and am set to film a new episode next week for a third appearance.  Currently, the show has just finished casting for its eleventh season.  The show always tapes and edits first prior to any airings.  At times it can be many months after taping before the new show actual is on the air.  Recently the show had huge ratings as shown in the link below:

When the last 2 episodes of “Hawaii Life” aired on Sunday night, April 30, 2017, the episode was the highest rated HGTV show for the entire week.  As you can see in the ratings chart link below, those 2 “Hawaii Life” episodes were the 11th and 12th highest rated cable shows of the entire Sunday’s programming, pulling in roughly 1.7M- 1.8M viewers each, beating out some major television shows. source

I am always looking for real life clients to appear on the show.  Ultimately, the agents and staff of Hawaii Life Brokerage have no control over casting, show placement and client selection as this is all done by the actual production company of HGTV.  There was a few instances recently where someones plans changed and the show was desperately seeking clients to quickly film at the last minute.  They reached out to agents such as myself and asked for casting and agent help.

Currently, I am looking for real clients that either are on island or moving to the island that might be willing to be on the show.  The clients would have to be actively looking to buy to be considered or be buying in the near future.  Basically, we are looking for authenticity and the clients would have to be real clients purchasing real estate and not just someone looking to be on the show.  I certainly can make no guarantees of future castings or shows but I am looking for real life clients that might be a good fit should the production company of HGTV choose.  I am also looking for potential properties to show that might be on the market in the future.  So if you are not comfortable being on TV but plan on listing your house in the future and think it might be a good property to showcase please let me know.  We can never plan or dictate the airing of the show or even if the production company can use the property but if it is selected it can be great exposure for the seller.

If you have interest in possibly being on the show or a great property that might work for filming please get in touch with me.  I would love to hear your story and learn more.

Hi, I’m 54 and I live in Calgary, Canada. I’m flying to the BI 1st week of May and last week of June to buy a fixer upper in Ocean View. Max budget $80k usd. I will use it for holiday and airbnb till I retire in 10 years and spend the winters there.

If you all need a person for the show, I would consider it
