Season Two of Hawaii Five-O debuted this Monday across the country. Those of us “lucky to live Hawaii” were able to get a sneak preview at Sunset on the Beach in Waikiki.
This Tantalus home (MLS# 1103929) is near where McGarrett met an old friend of his father’s
After season one’s final episode where McGarrett ended up in prison, we all had to know Hawaii’s #1 TV star wouldn’t be in there for long. The #2 villain from season one, Victor Heis, stabs McGarrett in prison to help him escape as he knows McGarrett is the only one that can stop Wo Fat.
Meanwhile, the Five-O team meet up with McGarrett’s former Navy Seal commander to help clear McGarrett’s name from the Governor’s murder. The commander, played by Lost’s Terry O’Quinn, takes McGarrett to an old friend of his father’s named Mokoto up on Tantalus.
Tantalus is a great neighborhood in the hills of Honolulu where you have great views of the city and most of the lots are larger and offer a fair amount of privacy. There are also some great hikes in the area. There is very little inventory on the market there as of today, as there’s only 1 listing (above) that’s got an accepted offer on it.
After McGarrett learns of his father’s pact with Mokoto to clean up the city, he is turned on to a lead over in Molokai where his father kept a locker at the airport. They discover a video card that shows there is a hidden camera in the Governor’s office. Dano and Chin Ho discover the camera and the footage of the Governor’s murder to clear McGarrett’s name.
This Ko Olina condo (MLS# 1110761) is nearby the marina where Wo Fat’s yacht was
Meanwhile, Kono was tracking Wo Fat and got some footage of him boarding a boat in Ko Olina. Ko Olina is a resort community on Oahu’s leeward coast that has a private marina.
Although one of Wo Fat’s thugs (played by Hawaii’s own Jiu Jitsu star, Egan Inoue) catches Kono, she is ultimately able to escape and report back to the Five-O team that Wo Fat is making a break. Once they get to Ko Olina, they are able to heist a boat to catch up with Wo Fat’s yacht. Unfortunately, he is the only one missing from the boat…We’ll see what next week has in store.
