Fifth Home Release

Makamae is now on its fifth home release. There were 3 homes released. One was a plan 1 and two were plan 2. The plan 1 home sold for $899,600.

The plan 2s sold for $909,600 and $909,800. You’re probably wondering why the price difference, one had a larger plot of land.

Sixth Home Release

The sixth home release will be in November 2021 and there will be 4 homes released. The 7th home release won’t happen until after the new year.

Waiting List

Let’s talk about the waiting list. In order to purchase a home at Makamae, these homes are by waiting list only. There will be no lotteries for Makamae.

As of October 2021, the waiting list is around 260 or so. What this means is, if your name was added to the waiting list now, it’ll take about 2 to 2 1/2 years to be possibly offered a home.

Three Year Project

Makamae is a 3-year project and they’re on sales release #5 and have released 24 homes. Makamae will have a total of 150 homes so they’re still really early in the sales process.

There still is a chance if you are interested in Makamae. A lot of people on the waiting list will not purchase a home. Some reasons may be they’ve already purchased a home, they no longer qualify, they moved off the island, they’re no longer looking to purchase a home, they don’t want that specific floorplan, they lost their job, etc. So don’t give up hope. Anything can happen from now to when they call your name on the waiting list.

Model Homes

How do you get on the waiting list or see the model homes? To get on the waiting list or to visit the model homes at Makamae, Gentry has a process in place. You cannot walk up to the sales office and expect to see the model homes. They will literally turn you away at the door.
