Free Community Workshops at Mala’ai – The Culinary Garden of Waimea Middle School

Mala`ai, The Culinary Garden of Waimea Middle School, recently received a Grant from The Richard Smart Fund of the Hawai’i Community Foundation to host a series of workshops around local food sustainability issues. A fun way for old residents and potential new residents to have an authentic experience and get to learn a little about one of the things that makes our community excellent: healthy organic vegetables!

Thank you Brooke! We had a terrific turnout for Saturday’s Vermiculture workshop – even in spite of the wet chilly weather! Mahao for your help with getting the word out!
