Deal: Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation Certified Home in Hawaii….Now a REO

Opportunity of a life time to own this magnificent Frank Lloyd Wright designed home, adapted by Taliesin Architects, located in Waimea on the Big Island of Hawaii!

This is the best DEAL in Big Island Real Estate today, perhaps in the whole state of Hawaii!

Frank Lloyd Wright design and Foundation Certified Hawaii home for sale

Recently offered for $2,900,000 this Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation Certified home (MLS# 233216) is now listed as a BANK OWNED REO!

Price: $1,348,900
Assessed Value: $1,693,900

Original design by Frank Lloyd Wright. Adapted by Taliesin Architects. Certified by Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation. This “Passive Solar Hemicycle” home is impressive! The use of Green design for his time is brilliant. Placed on the land next to a seasonal stream and use of the natural rock for the hot tub, sounds of the wind and birds are nothing compared to his stunning talent with this Taliesin design which features a 120 degree arc and cylindrical tower. I could go on and on and if this isn’t enough, the leinholding Bank bought the Wright designed furniture and it is offered with the current sales price!

Hot tub made in the natural rock of the property

On 2.97 acres and built in 1995 on a spectacular promontory overlooking Waiaka Stream and mountain views of Mauna Kea (perhaps the largest mountain in the world I am told).

Thoughtfully placed in a cool semi dry elevation, approximately 5 minute drive to the islands best beaches and in the other direction, a 5 minute drive to Waimea (Kamuela). Please look at the current listing.

Featuring his famous polished cement floors, the free form living room with 2 fire places (the elevation is cool) and dining room both have built in couches. The suspended second floor features the master suite and other bedrooms are amazing. This 4 bedroom 3 and ½ bath boasts 5,500 sq ft of living area. Design and location are splendid!

Contact me if you need information or want to view this stunning elegant masterpiece. Short notice is fine!

Heidi, you are right, this is an amazing deal!! This home is truly a work of art! Dave and I were lucky enough to know the former owners and were invited to socialize there a few times. The furniture, the architecture, the layout, everything is just simply awesome. I hope to know the new owners and be invited back again! 🙂

I missed seeing that clip on HGTV. It is a amazing property and whats even more amazing its been for sale as a bank owned REO for just over 2 months (and still available on the market)! It seems like someone should have snatched it up by now. A great value.
