Deal – South Maui Foreclosure Near Keawakapu Beach

For those of you who are not familiar with Keawakapu Beach on the border of Kihei and Wailea, Maui prepare to have your heart taken like your first love. The sounds in the video are the blowing of the conch shell (pictured below) which are commonly blown in Hawaii during sunset.

The Hawaiian conch shell

I enjoyed this beautiful Keawakapu Beach sunset in between checking out some screaming deals in the South Kihei and Wailea area. I also treated myself to some onolicious ribs, sushi, and a local micro-brew at one of my favorite restaurants, The Five Palms Restaurant, that overlooks the beach, ocean, and outer islands.

May I interest you in an awesome deal of a South Kihei home foreclosure that is right across from all of this enchantment?

This (MLS# 346415) is a bank owned home that has been on the market for about 30 days, and is ripe for an offer

2006 Purchase Price: $985,000

Current Asking Price: $799,000

Own It For: Make an offer! The bank is very motivated to sell this property now!

Location, Location, Location!—The #1 rule when investing in real estate. It’s tough to beat this South Maui location considering the aforementioned, the close proximity to world class golf courses, 2 minute drive to Wailea, the list goes on and on.

After all, you wouldn’t want to miss out on another afternoon walk down Keawakapu now would you?

As the Maui sun sets over Kaho’olawe surely we realize that life is short, and thus it must be enjoyed to the fullest.

I hope you enjoyed the videos and pics, I love this stuff 🙂

Maybe you love the location, but aren’t too hot on the home I featured, please let me know, and I will be happy to educate you about more screaming deals in the area.

@ Heidi- Thanks for the support, I’m looking forward to coming over to the Big Island with my girlfriend to explore some of the beautiful beaches over there.

@ Maui Family- It is certainly a Screaming Deal, would you like to view the home in person?

Price reduced to $699,900 on this REO home, which puts it under jumbo loan limit. Area is called Keawekapu Views.

Vacant lots are going just under $400k, so this home is priced under construction cost (at $200 per square foot, which is conservative by Maui building standards). The only other active is over $800k.

Screaming deal that took a year for somebody to actually want. Yeah, great deal.
