Explore Kahala (Part 2): The Top Beaches

In my last post, we talked about a plethora of interesting places to visit in Kahala. Thalassophiles make some noise because today, we’re counting down the top three beaches with lots of thrilling water activities to choose from. On that note, let’s dive in (pun intended).

#3 Kahala Beach

Your Kahala adventure is not complete without checking in at Kahala Resort & Hotel. They have complimentary bicycles, photography sessions, and an introduction to surf class to prep your ride with the waves. If you just want to savor the astounding views of the ocean, you can opt for a kayak. Or try snorkeling and swim with the colorful fishes.

#2 Ala Moana Beach Park

This spot is famous for the locals. Whether you want to hang out with the family over picnics and BBQ grills or just want to get a golden tan, this is the perfect place. But this one’s not just for relaxation. You can also enjoy a variety of water sports and activities such as surfing, scuba diving, parasailing, and jet skiing. On the other side of the beach, there is a man-made peninsula called Magic Island. It features large seawalls and shallow lagoon, which is excellent for the kids to swim.

#1 Waikiki Beach

Waikiki Beach is one of the most recognized beaches in the world. Discover a breathtaking underwater realm with a snorkeling tour. Experience a range of water sports and activities like adventure sailing, kite surfing, and pedal boats. Feel the wind and sea breeze on your skin while being whisked into the sky on a parasailing trip. For fitness enthusiasts, you can also learn the stand-up paddleboard yoga. After a tiring but fun-filled feat, hop on an island-style buffet dinner cruise while watching the vibrant fireworks.

There you have it, sea lovers. Time to grab that surfboard and paddle out. Make sure to come back soon for the third and last part of the Kahala adventure series featuring the top restaurants in the neighborhood that you don’t want to miss out on!
