Luxury East Honolulu Real Estate in the Hills of Hawaii’s Wealthiest Zip Code

Ocean view from the hills of East Oahu

Are you looking for luxury real estate with an ocean view, in a great neighborhood, close to town? The hills above East Oahu have all of this and more. But first you need to know what’s in your wallet before you start looking at homes with that zip code—I’m referring to 96821. A Pacific Business News article called it the “state’s wealthiest zip code.” This area encompasses the hills above Kahala all the way to Kuli’Ou’Ou Park which is just before Hawaii Kai begins.

Waialai Iki, Waialai Nui, Aina Hina, Niu Valley, Kalani Iki, Kahala Kua and Hawaii Loa Ridge are all nestled in the hillside of East Oahu. All of these areas just mentioned have a mixture of new homes, refurbished homes, and a few that are in need of some TLC, but as everyone knows location, location, location is what matters most.

One of my favorite areas in the hills of east Oahu is Hawaii Loa Ridge. This gated community offers newer custom estate homes with with dramatic ocean views. Watch spectacular sunsets, view brilliant rainbows, and, on some days, see all the way to Maui. There are currently 19 properties available—five that are in escrow and eight that have closed escrow, all within the last six months.

I have assembled a gallery of Hawaii Loa Ridge properties for your review. It is really a “community within a community.”

Please contact me if you have any questions about properties in the hills of East Oahu.

Those are all great neighborhoods you touched upon Cheryl. I guess I feel “lucky” to have lived in 96821 for 15 years of my life 🙂
