Recently I wrote about 2 mid century modern homes done by Alfred Preis that were good values. In the article I’d mentioned how the Preis home on Diamond Head was the 2nd best value on a price/sq. ft. basis. The best value was an Ossipoff home on Diamond Head Circle. Well, that deal got even better. The home has since been withdrawn from the market and just re-listed for $411,000 less!

This property is listed as 11 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms on 0.768 acres. When I wrote that last article, the improvements were already the lowest price/sq. ft. in all of Diamond Head at $562/sq. ft. Today, it’s priced at $516/sq. ft., which is significantly less than the average asking price of $1,406/sq. ft. The average sales price over the past 6 months has been $1,107/sq. ft., so this is definitely a great opportunity!
