Kauai Home Builder Confidence Has Steepest One-Month Gain in a Decade (July, 2012)

Home-Builder confidence soars! How high?! Six-points! “It’s the steepest one month increase in over a decade” according to a new report from the National Association of Home Builders. 

According to this article from Housing Wire: “Builder confidence increased by solid margins in every region of the country in July as views of current sales conditions, prospects for future sales and traffic of prospective buyers all improved,” said Barry Rutenberg, chairman of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and a home builder from Gainesville, Fla. “This is greater evidence that the housing market has turned the corner as more buyers perceive the benefits of purchasing a newly built home while interest rates and prices are so favorable.”

I couldn’t agree more. Another huge advantage is that currently there are many contractors available right now and there rates are more competitive than in previous years when you had to be on as long as a1- 2 year wait list for a good contractor.
