Be a Go-Giver

Have you read the book “The Go-Giver?” It’s one of my favorites because it aligns with how I try to live my life and run my business. If you want to live a successful life, this book, written by Bob Burg and John David Mann, contains the secret.

The Secret to Success

So, what is the secret to a successful career? A successful life? In this little book written in parable form, you’ll learn that true success comes from a life of giving. That’s right. When we put others’ interests first and continually add value to their lives, we receive unexpected returns. If you want to live a rich, rewarding, and meaningful life, it begins by changing your focus from getting to giving.

In our fast-paced, often me-focused world, we need more “go-givers.” We need people who are willing to serve others and who understand the value of helping others succeed. The cool thing is that when you help others get what they want, you get what you want, too!

Service-Oriented Life

If you are looking for a philosophy that will dramatically increase your business and enrich your life, this is a great book to add to your library. It’s not new, but it sits on my shelf, and I re-read it every year as a reminder. A reminder that the greatest leader is a servant leader and that the key to my own personal success stems from adding value to those around me.

In business and in my personal life, I have learned that being authentic, others-focused, and service-oriented is not just the secret to success, but is the catalyst to a more meaningful, purposeful, and fulfilling life.

I encourage you to read the book — it’ll touch your soul and inspire your heart. And, it’ll change your life and the lives of those around you.
