Art & Sol Annual Benefit at Merriman’s Restaurant

For those of you who love to dine at Merriman’s Restaurant, I highly recommend attending the Art & Sol Annual Benefit for Waimea Middle School’s Mala’ai Garden.

What is Mala’ai?

Mala’ai is Hawai’i Island’s model school garden, which was first planted nine years ago as an outdoor living classroom to grow real change for Waimea’s children and community. A one acre garden cultivated by and for the students that educates them about healthy delicious food, learning in and from nature, and taking care of themselves and the land.

What to Expect

The Art & Sol event, scheduled April 13th at Merriman’s Restaurant in Waimea, “provides a delicious excuse to indulge in rare pleasures” while supporting a charitable cause. Enjoy Big Island delicacies and partake in a silent auction featuring a beautiful craftsman Koa rocking chair, sailboat charters, local art, and so much more.
