It is already hard enough to pack everything you own and uproot yourself, your family, your pets and current life routine when you have orders to PCS (Permanent Change of Station) to a new destination. You are expected to adjust and live for a minimum of 3 years in a place you most likely have never been. With Covid-19, travel bans & the constant feeling of uncertainty, my military clients have expressed that it now seems completely overwhelming planning for the move. Even though the government has suspended all military travel until May 11th 2020, the need for preparing has only grown. My heart goes out to you and I want to help. Last year, more than half of my clients were military personnel that I assisted with their relocation to Oahu. I don’t hesitate to jump on a property that fits all of your needs, call the listing agent, build rapport, find out how much action has been occurring on the property, find out the reason why they are selling, see how motivated the sellers are, and finally, do a full analysis of the value of the home and study the comparable sold properties with a quick turnaround. I want to negotiate the best price and make a strong offer. In the current Hawaii market, I know that we have to move fast and make clean, solid offers.

3. I’m accustomed to working remotely.

I’m lucky enough to have been able to spend some time traveling and have learned how to successfully work via email and virtually. Last year, I spent a total of 3 months in Italy and was able to facilitate and close on 3 homes while abroad. Some of those homes, my clients made offers “sight unseen” because they were moving from a base in Japan or on the mainland. They trusted me to give my honest feedback and present them with a detailed analysis of the home. With Covid-19, viewing homes in person might not be an option for the time being. However, I can preview the home for you, as well as jump on a zoom or facetime call to show you the home and do a comprehensive virtual tour. All of our offers are written and signed via DocuSign electronically. After getting our offer accepted, I will set everything up for behind-the-scenes, such as the home inspection, escrow, & title insurance. Escrow documents can be mailed to your current home with a mobile notary for closing purposes. We can get everything done upfront so you and your family can plan on a close date, arrange movers for furniture, and make your transition to the Aloha state as easy as possible.
