$45 Million for Oceanfront Kahala Parcels

One of Kahala Avenue’s prized plots of land is available again for $45 million.

Over 2.7 prime acres of oceanfront real estate in Kahala can now be yours for $45 million

The parcel above sold in October of 2006 for $34 million. The previous owner was billionaire David Geffen of Geffen Records. Charles Wang, co-founder of Computer Associates and owner of the New York Islanders, purchased the property back then at one of the highest residential sales on Oahu since the Kaiser Estate sold in 1990 for $42.5 million.

Today, the land is available for sale in three parcels:

  • 4415 Kahala Avenue (MLS# 1104548) is listed for $16,000,000
  • 4423 Kahala Avenue (MLS# 1104549) is listed for $16,000,000
  • 4433 Kahala Avenue (MLS# 1104547) is listed for $13,000,000

This is definitely one of the most prized continuum of parcels on Oahu, outside of perhaps the Kaiser Estate that was available for sale last year at $80 million (which went unsold). It will be interesting to see if the Kaiser Estate comes back on market after its owner sold another home in California last month for $100 million…These trophy properties don’t come up that often.
