Application Deadline for Grants is Jan 4th!
There’s a grant being awarded to 66 first-time home buyers for up to $30,000 to be used for your DOWN PAYMENT! (The grant amount varies based on the price of the home whichever is smaller 5% of the purchase price or $30K).
What’s a 1st time home buyer?
Anyone who hasn’t owned more than 50% of a home in the last 3 years
What if I don’t know for sure I want to buy a home or which home I want to buy?
Applicants don’t need to know which home, they can apply the grant to any home they chose later!
What’s the deadline for applying?
The deadline for applying is Jan 4th.
It takes a minute to get the required materials together, so please don’t delay more than absolutely necessary.
When do we find out who WINS?
The 66 winners will be drawn on Jan 17th.
How do I apply?
Follow these 3 steps:

- Get a pre-authorization letter from a reputable lender licensed in Hawaii
- Get an application from the office of Housing Division Administration * 2065 Main Street Suite 108, Wailuku, HI
- BE SURE TO SUBMIT THE APPLICATION BY JAN 4th 🙂
