This is a multi-day event that has all things yoga. The famed Turtle Bay Resort deep on the North Shore has been host to this event. The Wanderlust name has gotten so big and the events so popular that they have them all over the U.S. throughout the year. The brand has just recently opened top yoga studios by the same name in California.

The event draws attendees from all over the world. They offer discounted room rates at the hotel and also day passes for those who want to stay offsite. In addition to the hotel, there are specific campgrounds set up on the property for those looking to really connect with nature. This season the group has partnered with the brand Adidas. They are making clothes and also sponsoring events such as tennis clinics on the property. This year’s festival saw some amazing special sponsorship events such as the Sea-to-Table dinner with food showcasing the best local flavors of the island.

Music and Night Life

At night, the grounds are transformed into full-fledged concert arenas. This year’s concerts saw the stylings of DJ Drez, Moby, and Xavier Rudd to name just a few headliners. You can buy a single class admittance, a day pass or a multi-day package. With the day passes you can sign up for one to as many classes as you can squeeze in. The system is all designed on the app, allowing you to see where the classes are held and to adjust your schedule based on how full that specific event is. The day passes allow you access to the nightly festivals that have libations tents to grab that end of the day adult beverage.

Wanderlust – Find Your True North

Events are set up all over the expansive property. You may have an informal education talk in one of the hotel bars or a class of hundreds in one of the ballrooms. They have tents set up for classes near the ocean, in the woods, along the golf course and beach areas. This year’s events had taken up about 75% of the hotel’s 400+ rooms and cottages. The festival is large enough to have something for everyone and also intimate enough to see some new friends passing in the common areas. It is hard to not see someone walking around the property without a mat. This year’s event was held the first week of March, but be sure to look for upcoming events back on the North Shore and plan ahead.

This event sounds great, but your article is posted on March 7 and the event has already taken place. If the intention is to bring people to Oahu to attend, it should be in the December or January newsletter.
