If you are a senior, you are among the fastest-growing consumer group in the country. Actually, in the world! You have more spending power than any other age group. You are also part of the largest age demographic. According to the World Health Organization, those over 60 will represent one out of every five human beings in our population by the year 2050. Hmmmm… money and numbers — definitely a powerful combination.
More than Money and Numbers
But, the power of seniors doesn’t stop at their financial resources and growing population base. The true power of seniors comes from the pool of talent that seniors collectively represent. You have experience, stability, time, and resources. And wisdom. Wisdom that comes from years of living.
As a senior, you have the power to enhance our communities and businesses. You have the ability to help the generations that follow you. How? Through your influence.
How Do You Use Your Influence?
So, how do you influence those around you? That’s up to you. Perhaps that is the most empowering thing about being a senior. You get to choose. How do you want to use your talent? How do you want to contribute? Perhaps you want to volunteer or mentor? Maybe you want to take up a new career, write, or use your skills to serve on a foundation or board. Perhaps your empowerment will come through the arts.
Regardless of how you use your influence, the important thing to know is that you do have influence. And with that influence comes the power to create positive change in the lives around you and in your own life. Now, that’s empowering!

Hawaii wishes taking over my brain.
If you can help, where do you think is the best place to stay (budget) while looking to buy?
Have you seen the post from a senior staying at a Holiday Inn -for life? – for $59 a night?! On Facebook 😃
Thanks for your time.
