The second largest industry behind tourism in the state of Hawaii is the Military. Many times a military member PCS’s to a state like Hawaii and possibly does not have anywhere to live. Living on base certainly has its upside, but it also comes with numerous rules and regulations and is certainly not for everyone. If you are not planning on spending lots of time at home, or possibly don’t need a full house or condo, then renting a room is a great option. One of the best benefits of being stationed in Hawaii is receiving a healthy BAH. There is no reason to deplete your entire allotment on a large rent when you can rent a room. Obviously, the rooms are available to both military applicants and civilians.
Spinnaker Complex in Ewa Beach
Finding a great room to rent in a fantastic location can be a challenge. There is an amazing opportunity to rent one or two rooms in Ewa Beach. Starting around April 1st, two opportunities will be available in the sought after community of Spinnaker. This is a highly desirable area that has a community pool, BBQ areas and lounge chairs. The complex is close to shops, restaurants, grocery stores and beaches. The property is very well updated and comes with many perks such as a two car garage. Having the ability to park a car in a covered spot is a huge benefit when looking at rentals. The home has a covered private front lanai, wood floors, central AC and is extremely updated. You can rent one or both of the rooms that will share a dedicated bathroom. An additional half bath is located on the main level of the property.
Close to Two Surfing Beaches
The owner of the property will be the additional roommate so you are assured the home will be well maintained. There will be no need to call a landlord or handyman should anything need to be repaired or replaced. The unit is close to two main beaches, White Plains and also One’ula Beach Park. Both of the beaches are known for surfing and white plains has an amazing MWR allowing DOD card members inexpensive rentals of surfboards, paddle boards and bodyboards. All of this is extremely close to the new Wai Kai lagoons that is within walking distance.
The property owner is looking for good quality long-term tenants. Someone that is respectful, responsible, neat and a non-smoker. The tenant will have their privacy but should also be able to get along well with others. The rooms are large, private and will be available for under $1400 a month. This is obviously a fraction of what a full house or condo would rent for in Ewa Beach.

I am interested in this room/rooms for rent. I am currently residing in Ocean Point in an attached room and I have been there going on 3 years. I am retired from the military and recently retired from the Government at Pearl Harbor. The owners of this property are selling this property and therefore I am trying to find another place to reside. My pans are to move to Orlando, Florida but because of the coronavirus platform, I am being slowed down. I am interested in signing whatever lease I may be able to sign. References from my landlord/owner can be made available.
