If you’ve watched the broadcast of the recent Sony Open golf tournament held at Waialae Country Club, you probably noticed the only tall building for miles around, visible from the first tee (as well as from pretty much anywhere) — that is the Regency at Kahala, the only luxury condo of its kind in Kahala, the prestigious address known all over the world.
Built in 1969, its original residents were a veritable who’s who of prominent local leaders, including government, business, and even entertainment. Even today, the residents take great pride in their building, something that shows in how well everything is maintained and upgraded.
Each floor has 4 units, with the 3BR “A” units (sunrise/ocean/golf course view), 1BR “B” units (ocean/Diamond Head view), and 2BR “C” and “D” units (Diamond Head/mountain view). Many units have enclosed their lanais to add more interior space, but these older designs feature plenty of space and high ceilings even while keeping the lanai.
Its location right next to Kahala Mall (and the Post Office) makes this one of the most desirable from a convenience viewpoint. Who needs to drive when the resident manager has secured agreements to wheel your shopping carts straight home from Whole Foods and Longs? Movie theaters and many restaurants (including the busiest California Pizza Kitchen in the world), not to mention easy access to the freeway, make this an ideal option for residents of any age!
As of this writing, there are five units actively listed, with another in escrow. Residents tend to stay in their units longer rather than shorter, so once ownership changes hands, it may not come back on market for a while. If you see something you like, don’t hesitate!

カハラモールに隣接するため（郵便局も道を隔ててあります）便利さの観点からはトップランクです。ホール・フーズやロングスと契約してショッピングカートをそのままご自宅まで押して帰れるので車を出す必要もありません！映画館やレストランも複数あり（世界で一番繁盛しているCalifornia Pizza Kitchenも！）、フリーウエイへのアクセスもとても良く、幅広い年齢層の方にアピールするでしょう。
