My boyfriend Bill was enjoying his favorite West Kauai surf break yesterday morning. He struck up a conversation between sets with a fellow surfer, who after living and working all over the world, had recently moved to Kauai full-time. Why? “Because Kauai is quiet, and there are very few quiet places left in the world,” he said.
A Sunday South Kauai Sail
I’ve heard many reasons for people relocating to Kauai: its natural beauty, its perfect weather, its clean air and ocean water, its surf, its white sand beaches, its friendly residents, and its laid-back vibe. And now, its quietness. Interesting, don’t you think?
Our quiet Kauai. I love it. I love my Kauai Life.
