One of my favorite high-rise buildings in Hawaii Kai is the Mauna Luan. Located at the beginning of the lush Hahaione Valley, it’s just minutes away from Costco, Longs Drugs/CVS, and all of Hawaii Kai’s favorite eateries.

The tropical grounds and man-made waterfalls are enough to visit the community. Walking around feels like your miles away from Hawaii Kai and instead visiting a tropical forest.
