Maui Weekend Events – May 17

Aloha friends! This weekend on Maui, we have the 2024 Maui Brewer’s Festival to look forward to. Lots of great beer and food choices this year. The Hyatt in Kaanapali presents one part in its 6 months Nashville Nights series featuring Jenny Tolman. The Maui Ocean Center hosts a Sharks after Dark Disco Night. And finally, the Maui Institute for Astronomy is hosting a night under the Hawaiian Moon.

2024 Maui Brewer’s Festival

The Maui Brewer’s Festival is on this weekend! General Admission and Beer Lover’s tickets are available. Beer Lovers’ Happy Hour from 2:00 – 3:30 pm and General Admission from 3:30 – 7:00 pm. Eric Gilliom is the emcee this year. Enjoy an afternoon of tasty food from local restaurants and caterers, beer tastings from local and national craft breweries, live music, and lots of fun. Check out the beer menu and food menu.

Nashville Nights – Jenny Tolman

The Hyatt Regency Maui presents Nashville Nights. This is a 6-part monthly series featuring Nashville Artists. Take in smooth Nashville grooves while watching the sunset at Ka’anapali Beach. Shows will take place from 7:00 – 9:30 pm. These will be intimate events in a songwriter’s format. This month’s feature is Jenny Tolman. Food and beverage will be available for purchase. Tickets $35- $35.

Sharks After Dark Disco Night

Maui Ocean Center is hosting a 21-and-over Disco Night this Saturday from 6:00 – 9:30 pm. This event will feature 70s disco music. Gourmet food and drink will be on hand with a full-service bar. Diver presentations and Humpbacks of Hawaii screenings for your entertainment. Tickets $25 in advance or $35 at door. Free for members.

A Night Under the Hawaiian Moon

Maui Institute for Astronomy is hosting a night under the Hawaiian Moon this Saturday night. The event will be held at the Institute for Astronomy Advanced Technology Research Center in Pukalani. Start time is 7:00 pm. They don’t have anything on their website about it, but the event is posted on their Facebook page.
