Matt Beall, Principal of Hawaii Life, spoke in San Francisco at Indie Connect, a special conference for independent brokerages put on by Inman Connect. Matt was part of a panel that addressed the issue of whether or not independent brokerages should sell out. An article based on the presentation was published by Inman News.
As Matt counseled the audience of independent brokerages from around the country, it’s always a good idea to stay open because every meeting increases your own knowledge. Even more important though is to know what you want. As Matt shared, there are plenty of small brokerages all around the country, selling homes and making customers happy.
Speaking of Hawaii Life’s rapid increase in market share and sales, Matt said simply: “We really put our heads down and have competed on merit. That’s what’s given us our growth.”
