An August 11, 2014 update by Ike Cockett, the resort’s general manager, states that the expansion “will create over 200 additional new residences at the resort, a poolside bar & grill, an expansive 13,000 sq.ft. (355,000 gallon) lagoon pool, a mixed use event center perfect for weddings, receptions, or Hawaiian style gatherings, and more!”

Construction is scheduled to begin in late August or early September 2014.
