Ho’opili is a new master-planned community being built between Ewa Beach and Kapolei. There will be around 11,750 homes developed in this area. In the future, this area will be its own town called Ho’opili with its own zip code.
There will be 5 Department of Education (DOE) Schools, 3 Elementary Schools, 1 Middle School, and 1 High School. Ho’opili is conveniently located near the University of Hawai‘i West O‘ahu campus. The 1st two home releases at Ho’opili were Ha’akea & Haloa,. Lehua and Akoko followed next. Currently being built are single family homes at Iliahi.

DR Horton, Rail, and massive master-planned communities, such as Ho’opili, are a bane and threat to Hawai’i’s natural beauty, cultural significance, and social identity. Hawai’i does not need more homes. We need to regulate the market and make the homes we already have more affordable. Ho’opili is con brought into existence by DR Horton greasing the palma of greedy politicians. We must stop Ho’opili if we care about saving the best of Hawai’i.
