Kihei Akahi: A Popular Maui Vacation Condominium Complex
This is a complex that is very popular for the vacation rental crowd with lots of return guests. Kihei Akahi is in a great location, it has two swimming pools, you can walk to some of the best beaches on Maui – Maui Kamaole Beaches 1, 2 and 3. You are also next door to a variety of restaurants and shopping.

The owners association does a good job of maintaining the complex – it’s in good condition. The maintenance fees include the gas for the hot water heaters, which in turn keep the electric bills lower. The association is also installing photovoltaic panels to help generate electricity to help offset the electricity usage for the common areas.
Sightseeing
Most people who come to Maui like to sight-see and you will definitely need a car to see all that Maui offers, but this is one of the few complexes that you really do not need a car if you are not planning on island-wide sightseeing.
