Offered at $3,000,000 (MLS# 250466)
Newly restored and renovated, this 4 bedroom/3 bath home is in a super location – Kahalu’u, Kona, Big Island of Hawaii.
Why I Love Kahalu’u
Although my 3 children were all born in Puako, when they were from ages 9 years to 15 years old we moved to Kahalu’u in Kona where they taught mom how to surf. Today, I woke up (at the crack of dawn), as usual, made my French press of Kona coffee, chose a standup paddle board over my surf board, and headed to the beach.
This house is located at Kahalu’u – one of my favorite surf spots
Every morning I jump into the water and enjoy the magical wonderland of the Hawaii shoreline surf and the sea life (manta rays, dolphins, and especially whales this time year) as the sun comes up over the Hualalai Mountains. When I see the whales I love to jump into the water and listen to their song. They are not always singing, but when they are it’s a treat!
Here is my middle son, Joey, in his favorite Kahalu’u blue room!
Then, with my day started right, I head to work smiling! This is a window to my Hawaii life and I hope that you can come by one of my Sunday open houses here at this newest listing of mine, and watch the surfers or the sunset and talk story a while.
E’ Komo Mai – Welcome – stop in sometime!

I can’t imagine a better place to watch the sunset nor a better person to hang out with.

Wow Heidi- Love this. This is exactly my routine. I try to be in the water by around 7 am- Get in my paddle surf at Hanalei Bay. Although my coffee is not french pressed rather brewed- I am such a nicer person after my session in the water. I too feel the magic of the ocean every single time. The special days with blessings of the backdrop of our majestic mountains and waterfalls topped by days with rainbows, dolphins, and sea turtles just complete the experience.
Lucky we live Hawaii~~~

@Carol, Well now you know who to call when you visit Kona! Sounds like we have our priorities right! This is why we live here! If its not making time for my family fun its making time to enjoy the surf and sea! Yes, swiming with dolphins tops my day right off! I wear small swim goggles around my neck just for that purpose! Cheers! Aloha Kakou!

Heidi, Don’t forget it’s a great place to retire, too. Folks with bad knees can always “lanai snorkel”!
That is a wonderful house with spaces to be together and apart! Ali
