There are lots of real estate companies around, but Hawaii Life stands out from the crowd. Just one of the many things that make Hawaii Life Real Estate Brokers different is our Hawaii Life show on HGTV. It’s a lifestyle program that features our company and agents showing properties around the different islands. It’s one thing to come visit Hawaii as a visitor, but living the Hawaii Life is something 22 million viewers like to dream about. This show lets people from anywhere in the world get a sneak peek at our real estate market and beautiful properties. Usually, when on vacation, visitors get to see the hotels and resorts, but most are curious about the housing market and what’s Hawaii Life is really all about. Hawaii Life helps to satisfy their curiosity.
The HGTV program is also a great tool for buyers and sellers to use. They can watch an agent on the show and get a quick glimpse of how they interact and do business. If you are moving from another state, sometimes your only contact with an agent might be through email and phone until you arrive. But the Hawaii Life program lets you see our Hawaii Life agents in action. Viewers can familiarize themselves with the different areas of the islands, Hawaii price points, and what you get for your money in the Hawaii market. When you are looking at homes online you are looking at usually professional photography that is showing the property in the best possible way. When you watch the show you can actually see the house live, so to speak.

I have been fortunate to be on the show and have taped some upcoming episodes. My most recent appearance was during Season 10, Episode 5, entitled “New Job and New Home on Oahu.” This just aired for the first time on HGTV last week. Not all agents are comfortable being on TV but I think it’s a great way to help market our great company and our amazing agents. We certainly shoot a lot of footage and do not get to see any of the footage until the show airs. So it’s a bit nerve-racking waiting to see the final cut, but it’s also exciting! I was also fortunate to be able to wear one of my HL MST (Military Specialized Team) shirts in the last shot of the episode. Hopefully, our military members watching saw the logo and realize we are the best company to use when PCSing to or from Hawaii.
This is truly an amazing company and the show has been a great asset. This is just one of the many things that makes our brokerage stand out from the others. If you don’t get HGTV with your cable package, you can also download the episodes on iTunes. Also, you can look for an episode on Hawaiian Airlines when flying back and forth to the islands. I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to be on the show. I look forward to discussing real estate or the show with anyone, at any time. Please feel free to call or send me a note if you want to find out more about Hawaii Life!

Great show. Just wish the realtors would pronounce the locations properly. SO tired of hearing HANAlulu instead of HONOlulu. Or Ha-y-e instead of the proper pronunciation. I understand malihini’s mispronunciation but locals? C’mon!

I have plenty of military clients that buy homes in Hawaii at all different price points. The VA limit for city and county of Honolulu is $726,525 so we absolutely have VA buyers at all price points from $400K to over 1 million no problem.
