If there is one thing I have learned in the Hawaii real estate business it’s that it is a people business. Well…maybe a couple more things, how to handle rejection, go with the flow, and count our blessings. After many years in the business, I noticed that I enjoy it more and more each year, and my clients get more amazing every year.
I listen to some colleagues and their horror stories about how difficult their business is and I wonder, “I have such great clients and I am really lucky.” I actually started to put some thought into it because, in reality, in all my years, I have enjoyed every transactions – each one has its own challenges, but they have all been dealt with and turned out just fine.
The Great Thing About This Business is that We Can Choose Who We Work With
Our clients choose us and we choose them. If we do it right, it is a mutual choice and both have a great experience. That is why I think I have had the creme of the crop in the client department. I noticed that once I made the statement many years ago that “my clients are awesome and I love working with them;” those types of people were the ones that I ended up working with.
I subconsciously focused only on those that would make both them and I happy to work together. The more I work with wonderful people, the more I enjoy my job and my life. The people I have worked with have been intelligent, kind, respectful, and just plain great, which has given me the opportunity to do my best work for them.
A Big Thank You To All Of My Clients
Here is my humble attempt to express my unwavering gratitude to all the clients I have worked with. You have been wonderful and I am so glad I had the chance to work with you. Being your real estate agent has been an honor and I look forward to working with you again, and again, and again.
