Rhonda Hay (Realtor, Broker) has joined Hawaii Life Real Estate Brokers as the Broker In Charge of Business Development for the Island of Maui. Rhonda brings over 20 years of residential real estate sales experience and over a decade of leadership and management to her new role with Hawaii Life. Previously, Rhonda served as the General Manager of Coldwell Banker Island Properties on Maui.
Since 2000, Rhonda has served on over 10 different committees at the Realtor’s Association of Maui (RAM). She chaired RAM’s Technology Committee from 2009 to 2012, as well as the Association’s Finance & Budget in 2006 and 2011. She currently sits on the 2013 Board of Directors for the Hawaii Association of Realtors.
As the Broker-In-Charge of Business Development, Rhonda will help to guide the growth of Hawaii Life on Maui. She’ll work closely with Jeff Simon, the Broker-In-Charge in Wailea, as well a team of over 20 brokers, salespeople, and support staff on Maui. Rhonda has already set her sights on the staffing and creation of Hawaii Life’s new office in Paia, on Maui’s north shore.
Hawaii Life is thrilled to have such an experienced, tech-savvy, and forward-thinking broker to provide additional leadership on Maui.

Welcome to the team Rhonda. Thanks to you, Jeff, Matt, Katie and all the people dedicated to make the inevitable success happen on Maui.
Ken asks an important question, that I’ve been pondering lately: “Why Hawaii Life?”
And here is my answer: At Hawaii Life we believe that a Hawaii real estate brokerage should be 100% created and owned in Hawaii. Our focus is on design and content, not hype. We are more connected to this place than a big, national franchise. We have a deep commitment to the our agents, ‘ohana, and our clients. Boom!
What do you guys think?

Winston, I couldn’t agree more. We do things differently at Hawaii Life. When our industry says “we do it this way because it’s always been done that way” we deconstruct that notion immediately and reconstruct what actually works for our clients and Brokers who choose to hang their licenses with us. Hawaii is different. This is not California – or New Jersey for that matter where the 6% Reology franchise fees get deposited. We live here, we work here, our money stays here in the islands. Local. It’s more than just important – it’s critical to the future of our island home.

Mahalo Winston! I love Jeff, Matt & Katie and appreciate the patience I’ve already been shown. 🙂
Why Hawaii Life??? I asked myself that question for months (as Matt knows) and the short answer is because I believe that I can grow here and be a part of something bigger (yet local) and be supportive to our agents and give them the tools they need to be successful! 🙂
I’m excited to be a part of the Hawaii Life Team and I look forward to working with you to grow this concept of people and technology combined! 🙂
