Hawaii City Plaza has not only launched sales but has already begun construction. In fact, the ground breaking ceremony took place on January 31st, 2019 and construction is expected to be completed in October 2021. Hawaii City Plaza is located at 710 Sheridan Street Honolulu, behind the Walmart and one block west of Keeaumoku Street.
The mixed-use residential and commercial tower will rise 27 stories and 250 feet. The 184 residences will include 37 affordable housing on floors 7-10 and 147 market priced housing on floors 11-27. Like many buildings, there will not be a 13th floor. There will also be three commercial units on the ground level.
The property is being developed by California based Town House Land Ltd and was designed by FSC Architects based in Honolulu.
The market priced residences begin on floor 11, with 9 units per floor. One bedroom, one bath apartments with 607 of interior sq.ft. plus an 86 sq.ft. lanai start at $656,000. Two bedroom, two bath apartments with 798 sq.ft. of interior space plus a 44 sq.ft. lanai start at $818,000. The most expensive apartment is unit 2705, a “B stack” two bedroom, two bath apartment. 2705 will have 989 of interior sq.ft. plus a 61 sq.ft. lanai and is priced at $1,186,000.
Two bedroom apartments come with two covered parking stalls; one bedroom apartments come with one.
Tentative finishes for the residences include laminate wood floors in the living areas and carpets in the bedrooms. For the kitchens a choice of acrylic, painted or wood grain cabinets; a gas cook-top and other high-end appliances. Other appliances include central air conditioning and in-unit washer and dryers.
The amenity deck, on the 6th floor, will include a swimming pool, a hot tub, cabanas, a children’s activity area, and three bbq areas. In addition, indoor amenities include a gym, a small theater, a game room (billiards, etc) and an owners activity center.
