Dreaming Of Hawaii

We all have dreams. And, sometimes they come true. Meet the Boswell family – HM, Kristen, Kelby (26), Kelsa (23), Keldon (12), Kiley (19), and Kentleigh (13). They hail from Texas. They’re a big family who live in a big house. They have horses. And now, they have a sweet beach home on Oahu’s North Shore.

HM and Kristen were raised in Texas, but from the get-go of their marriage, Kristen wanted to live somewhere else.  Fast forward 26 years, and they still live in Texas. But, not for long. You see, when HM and Kristen traveled to Hawaii years ago, something resonated deep within Kristen’s soul. As she puts it, “The ocean fills my heart and soul with so much joy. It’s as if fireworks go off in my insides when I see and hear the ocean.”

Kristen’s love of the islands rubbed off on her kids, too. Kelby even ended up attending college in Hawaii. Visiting Kelby during her college years in Hawaii solidified Kristen’s love of Oahu. She knew it was the perfect blend of city and country, mountains and ocean. And so, the search for a Hawaii home began. After 25 years, the dream was about to come true.

The Perfect Oahu Home

The Boswells landed on the perfect property — 53-709 Kamehameha Highway, in Punalu’u, located on Oahu’s north shore. Listed by Michelle Wood with Gold Coast Realty, this country beach home was just what Kristen envisioned. She was sold and so was her family!

As a Realtor, there isn’t anything that gives me more pleasure than to help my clients achieve their dreams. In this instance, it was especially gratifying. It’s not often that one gets to be part of a 25-year old dream come true. It was a blessing to work with such an amazing family. The Boswell’s have worked really hard to accomplish their goals.

They are a lovely and close-knit family. And, they are a collective group of gifted individuals. As Kristen puts it, “We have five beautiful, inside and out, children.” It’s true! All the Boswell kids are gifted with a talent for singing. In fact, Kiley and Kentleigh are currently working on song 3 of their 10-song album. They also managed to get through 3 rounds of The Voice. They’ll be back at it again the next time around, so look for them!

Buying their new beach home has given all the Boswell’s reason to sing.    And, helping them achieve their dream has put a song in my heart.
