Experience Sun Days Hawai’i: Brand New Collective Boutique in Paia

Not many things beat a sunny day or a Sunday on Maui. Perfect for relaxing, creating, feeling inspired, and rejuvenating. Now, a new boutique in Pai’a blends these essences into one vibrant location. What more fitting of a name than ‘Sun Days Hawai’i.’ I was privileged to attend their grand opening on November 16th, 2017. The place was radiating with so much love and support from family and friends. I learned from my good friend and one of the owners, Shauna Dukes, all the amazing experiences, aside from shopping that they have to offer. Alongside the beautiful clothing and jewelry in their inventory, you will find a modern apothecary bar, build your own terrarium station and you can even create a bouquet with fresh local flowers.

The modern apothecary bar lets visitors create essential oil blends and bath salts based on their personal desires. Whether you need an immune system boost or to reduce stress, Sun Days, has an essential oil blend for you. Mix up a unique bath salt with fresh herbs to take home for your next bubble bath.

You can build your own terrarium at their botanical bar. Choose a vessel, rocks, moss, soil, and plants. There are so many gorgeous vessels and plants to choose from, including succulents.

Step 2. Choose your plants. Small, medium and large succulents are $6. Air plant prices are between $6-$18. Driftwood and Shells are priced $2-$11. Rocks, Sand, Dirt, and Moss are $4-12.

Create a bouquet of fresh flowers. You can have their lovely florist from Wildheart Flowers do it for you when she is onsite or you can do it yourself. The flowers are charged by the stem and would make a beautiful centerpiece or gift. Something to keep in mind for your holiday festivities.

Sun Days also carries a variety of Body Deli Products which are organic face, body and hair care products. These products are made with pure, raw, super-foods so good you could probably eat it. Some additional brands you can find in the boutique are Acacia Swimwear and Taurus Moon Jewelry. I couldn’t help but purchase a beautiful pair of turquoise earrings.
