Buying & Charging Your Tesla on Maui

Buying a New Tesla on Maui

The Model S can achieve 0-60 mph in 2.5 seconds. Check out the test drive video clip. The cabin’s sophisticated elegance and state of the art technology enhance your driving experience. But how do you purchase a new Tesla if you live on Maui?

Just the Way You Want It & Shipped to Maui

Normally if you wanted to buy a vehicle you could go down to your local dealership and find it there but buying a new Tesla is unique. The vehicles are made specifically to the way you want it. Once they are built, they are shipped to Maui at the cost of $1,000. Pick up is at King Kamehameha Golf Course where a Tesla representative will present you with your new car. (Tip: Make sure to specify you want your vehicle shipped to Maui County and not Honolulu.) If you are a person that likes to experience first hand before you buy, then there is a showroom in Honolulu, Oahu.

Charging Options

Once you have taken delivery of your dreamy Tesla, chances are you’ll have the urge to drive it all over Maui, whether you are taking it to your favorite beach or lunch at Mamas Fish House, getting to your destination will be just as rewarding as the destination. Need to charge your Tesla while you are out and about? Click here to show locations of charging stations or download Charge Point, an app for IOS and Android users. In a rush, try out Maui’s newest quick charge station. For at home charging, consider the Tesla wall charger that speeds up charging. You can contact Rising Sun for installation of proper equipment to accommodate for the Tesla wall charger.

The Tesla Experience on Maui

I would argue that Maui is one of the top destinations for a jaw-dropping scenic drive. Appreciate the beauty of Maui in your Tesla with the comfort of knowing that you are doing mother nature a favor by going electric. Not to mention, the view from the all-glass roof might also bring you satisfaction and smiles. Aloha!

Assuming that’s your new Tesla, congratulations! She’s a beauty.

Thanks for the post! It’s been about six months. Any issues? I know one of the great things about electric vehicles is the low maintenance. But if a Tesla does need maintenance, where do you go on Maui? I’ve narrowed my car selection down to a Tesla, the Kia Niro EV and the Hyundai Kona EV. I think I like the Niro best, but Tesla’s are, well, really cool 😄. If getting a Tesla maintained doesn’t involve a ship to Oahu, I’m probably leaning that way. Thanks!

> seconded, stateside military with a Tesla and probably going to end up on the BI (Wife lived in Kona). Curious if the Tesla guys come out to you. We don’t want to live in Oahu, but would want to bring out Tesla out there when I retire in a few years.
